Panoramic Photography Tours we offer and how much it will cost.

    “ VR" or "Virtual Reality" encompasses a wide range of new technologies that offer the viewer an experience they participate in. VR engages us with interactivity, and invites us to be active in the experience, as if we are really there. These are fully immersive panoramic images allowing for left and right rotation as well as up and down with zoom in and out capabilities. Capturing ceiling and floor views allow for the full floating effect on a panorama.   A “Tour” quite simply consists of multiple  panoramic scenes linked together, and often includes detail “pop-ups”  to showcase a particular item and music to enhance the viewers experience. Many factors come into play when determining the cost involved in doing a tour. We also use state of the art equipment and software. For every 1 hour of onsite photography there may be as much as 3 hours or more time needed in post production. Many photographers charge by the hour, as well as creative and photographic fees, all of which can be confusing and very expensive. We try to simplify the pricing structure by identifying the many available options then letting you decide what works best for your  goals and budget. In doing so you are not charged hidden fees or unnecessary add ons later on.

Pricing Guide:
   1.Panoramic production  $190.00 for each pano up to 3 then $150.00 each thereafter.
   2. Popup images are $25.00 each up to 3 then $18.00 each thereafter. ( RAW, TIFF or JPEG files are to be supplied by the client unless other arrangements have been made beforehand).
   3. Music can be added to each individual pano for $20.00ea. (Music selections by client)
    
This is our Standard List of Inclusions  (SLI)

     On site
   1. Travel time up to 30 min. and talent as well as extra personnel that may or may not be needed. We absorb drive times to site locations within a 40 mile radius (approx 1/2 hour) of Petaluma, Ca. Outside this radius drive time is based at $50.00/ hour one way only. So if a job is a 2 hour drive one way we would charge $75.00 (1 1/2 hr.) travel time in addition to the tour package pricing.
   2. Initial set up and shot location planning. Arranging, cleaning, object and model  placement is the responsibility of the client however it is expected some collaboration is to be required between client and photographer.
   3. A bracketed set of photos are taken at each direction of the scene (6 directions of 4 bracketed images each will yield 24 photographs to comprise the scene). Each location will have it’s own lighting conditions so the bracketing sequence and stops per 360 degrees will be at the discretion of the onsite photographer.
   4. Property and model releases are required for each project. Forms will be provided by the photographer.
   5. All photographs are taken in RAW format to yield the highest degree of tonal quality.
   6. Original scene images remain the property of North Bay Panos while the client is given full unlimited rights to the panoramic tour.  
     
      Post-production 
   1. Our panoramas are generated in full HDR (high dynamic range). We bracket our shots (taking several exposures of the same scene so as to cover the full gamut of tonal range.
   2. Bracketed photograph sets are blended together to form 6 HDR images depending on the scene.
   3. All  blended images for a scene are then stitched together to form an equirectangular image. These Equirectangular HDR images are then brought into our tour generating software and links from one scene to another are then created.
   4. At this time the pop up highlights and musical options will be added to enhance the overall effect of the completed tour.
   5. A pre complete production tour will be available for viewing by the client within a week after shooting on Northbaypanos.com/client.
   6. A one time pano adjustment will be included at this time for no extra charge (pan, tilt and FOV changes only). If the clients design changes have been met, additional minor changes can be made to the tour for a sum of $50.00 per set of changes.
   7. Finished work will be published onto 2 DVDs in FLASH and HTML formats to give your website developer greater flexibility in incorporating the panoramic images onto your company website. Additional DVDs are $15.00 each

   We offer discounted rates for Commercial Photographers, Realtors and other companies having longer term needs with signed contracts.

      Exceptions to this Standard List of Inclusions 
   1. Additional interior lighting needed.
   2. Evening shoots (after 4pm) or earlier (before 7am).
   3. Delayed entry into shoot location (i.e. security, wrong codes, etc.).
   4. The client will be notified before hand if additional needs are required at an onsite shoot.
   5. Models or props required by client.
